• Not too well. It works best on hardwood floors and low pile carpet. If the carpet pile is too high the vac will get snagged on it.

• The only carpet we have is a large area rug in the living room- low pile with fringe. It works well on it. If the vacuum goes in from a corner it does tend to get stuck but is easy to unstick.
