• Yes, it can use two maps. I have a 2-story house as well and just take the charging dock upstairs with the vacuum and set it back on the charging dock. I open the app and it relocates itself. The first time you vacuum it will create the map and works from there. I really like the DEEBOT. I have had it for a little over two months now and am extremely pleased with the unit. We have an open floor plan, but I was able to create areas so if I only want to vacuum the kitchen (our most used room in the house) I can do that without having to do the whole downstairs. I did purchase the new moping dock as it works better than the original. Hope this helps.
