• Is your Deebot T8 AVI? I have a Deebot OXMO T8+ and it is not AVI; there is no camera.

• The older version of this vacuum (the T8 AIVI, not the T8) contains the regular camera. The newer one (this model, the T8) uses a different but superior sensor array (TrueDetect 3D) however it lacks the camera and therefore the home monitoring functionality. The advantage is that it at least is capable of cleaning and still avoiding small objects in the dark, whereas the AIVI requires light for the front camera sensors to work properly.
