Cristian, I recently bought this because I was having wifi connection problems where my internet would drop connection frequently. I've had no problems with the wifi since I bought the eero. To answer your question, yes you can hard wire your xbox to the eero and get better speeds then wifi. I have my xbox connected to the eero. The only problem is you wont get your full speeds with the eero as you would with the modem. I have xfinity 1 gig speeds and I get approximately 150 MBPS connected to the eero. Still better then lagging. Also if you get these make sure you don't have a modem from your provider. Purchase your own.
