eero - AC Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System (3-Pack) - White

I struggled with wifi in my house and office. These made a huge difference.

We have a 4,500 sqft house and had a gigabyte internet for about six months but never got anywhere close to that speed even right next to the router and barely over 50mgb in the upstairs bedroom. I tried multiple Netgear routers with multiple extenders and got better speed but super unreliable ( it would drop multiple times a day ) and their customer service was absolutely atrocious. I decided to give eero a try and behold fast and reliable internet. I had some trouble on the first day, with the eero in my office disconnecting but i called customer service and they answered right away and got it fixed in 20 minutes. Since then we have not had a single issue with connection issues. We have around 20 electronics connect to the eero not included our ring security system, cameras, and doorbell, as well as multiple smart lights and alexas throughout the house. With no issues at all. This system is incredible and the app is smooth, and this is coming from a software engineer. Overall a great system that is expandable. Definitely recommend giving this a try. I researched this purchase for months and considered every option, of which there are plenty. I finally decided on this Eero system and I am so happy I did. Setup was fast and EASY; the phone app is awesome and takes you through it in no time. It’s like you have an Eero technician right there at your side, walking you through the setup and placement of a custom mesh WiFi system for your home. I haven’t had to do anything since that first day I set it up almost a month ago. I’ve forgotten about it and I’ve never seen a signal less than max, even in my basement or outside. I paired it with an ARRIS Surfboard (SB6190) modem and it works great. The whole system is super fast with great throughput; never any lagging, even with streaming video. It was a good value too.

We went from a standard modem/router/extender set up to this because we constantly were having issues with poor connectivity, lagging out, buffering and just all around terrible upload and download speeds. We have tons of phones, tablets, computers, smart tvs, gaming consoles etc which I have included a list of most recent. We went from less than half of this speed to what you will see in the pics! Best purchase I have made for networking It is also one of the easiest, simplest setups I have ever gone through. It took less than 10 min to complete

I was hesitating to purchase these due to the high price. But they don’t disappoint. Eero is easy to set up and use. It probably took less than 10 minutes (if that) to set up. Not once have I had a connection issue. I now get ultra fast speeds. I had a nighthawk before this and I was getting mediocre speeds of max 150-170mbps. Once I switched over to Eero, I noticed the difference on all of my devices.

Today marks the 6-month mark I’ve had this system, and it’s fantastic. The premium subscription was found I be unnecessary, and is the only negative aspect I could find, as it constantly shows an advert to upgrade in the app. The modules are really fast, and can support 6 4K streams at once, if not more, that’s just as many as we were able to test. Each unit other than the host has 2 available Ethernet ports, which is great for adding wired devices on the other side of the house, or even connecting a networking switch to add even more ports. Simple and easy to set up, customizable light status, and high reliability are all in the box.

I have over 30 devices running off of two of these. "SOLID connectivity" I found these on sale but only hooked up two of them. They are both on the same level but handle plugs in the basement and outside with ease. You can use them without Alexa but with Alexa it offers voice control & diagnostics over your network which is a bonus. The app is good, setup is EASY and now I finally am getting what I am paying for with Spectrum. This week 230 down and 12 up. Zoom, WIFI calling, gaming, too many people on line it's all G2G. New WIFI 6 models are out but I went with these because of price and worries of backwards compatibility of my army of smart plugs and devices. Finally the salesperson at Best Buy was on another level, very helpful in going through all options available.

Great Router! I needed to amplify my WiFi across the house and this was recommended by BBY associate. He said it would be great for gaming or general internet use. This exceeded my expectations as it works great to provide WiFi all over my house even in the room where its furtherest from the modem. Simple + sleek and the app is solid!
