superfast

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5We have a 4,500 sqft house and had a gigabyte internet for about six months but never got anywhere close to that speed even right next to the router and barely over 50mgb in the upstairs bedroom. I tried multiple Netgear routers with multiple extenders and got better speed but super unreliable ( it would drop multiple times a day ) and their customer service was absolutely atrocious. I decided to give eero a try and behold fast and reliable internet. I had some trouble on the first day, with the eero in my office disconnecting but i called customer service and they answered right away and got it fixed in 20 minutes. Since then we have not had a single issue with connection issues. We have around 20 electronics connect to the eero not included our ring security system, cameras, and doorbell, as well as multiple smart lights and alexas throughout the house. With no issues at all. This system is incredible and the app is smooth, and this is coming from a software engineer. Overall a great system that is expandable. Definitely recommend giving this a try. (the photo is speed test taken outside by my mailbox, as far from the router as possible)

Great WiFi System - Easy Custom Setup!
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I researched this purchase for months and considered every option, of which there are plenty. I finally decided on this Eero system and I am so happy I did. Setup was fast and EASY; the phone app is awesome and takes you through it in no time. It’s like you have an Eero technician right there at your side, walking you through the setup and placement of a custom mesh WiFi system for your home. I haven’t had to do anything since that first day I set it up almost a month ago. I’ve forgotten about it and I’ve never seen a signal less than max, even in my basement or outside. I paired it with an ARRIS Surfboard (SB6190) modem and it works great. The whole system is super fast with great throughput; never any lagging, even with streaming video. It was a good value too.

Best internet speed no matter what
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Was going to buy a wifi booster, but was given great advice in the store from a sales associate to look into upgrading my router. This setup was reasonably priced, was easy to set-up and best of all gave me the fastest internet short of the pentagon. I'm at a regular 460 mbps download and 23mbps upload speed. This speed is consistent throughout my entire house, out to the garage, and all the way back in the yard to my firepit. This device really rocks! Just saying....

Easy to install mesh network
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5There is a lot of hype out there regarding WiFi speeds (see CNet's reviews), with eero getting high Mark's for a reason. Installation was a piece of cake, and when I DID question what I was doing, a quick call to Customer Support solved the issue. Support was friendly and world-class.

Q: QuestionIf I purchase this will it connect from my existing Wi-Fi from Comcast would I be able to connect it in my other rooms through Bluetooth or how to connect
Asked by Comcast.
- A:Answer You connect one of the units with an Ethernet cable to the back of your router/modem. The other units are place through out the house so they are spaced as evenly as possible. Plug them into an outlet. They will connect automatically. There is an app you need to download which will help you connect them. Very easy to use and they work very well. They will create a new network. Name the network what you want and create a password. I connected all my WiFi devices to the new network. I still have access to the old network, and can connect to it if I want or need to but, there is no need. If you have any issues or questions about the connection, the customer service is great! They will walk you through the whole set up and answer all your questions!

Q: QuestionIs this a WiFi system all in one .I don’t understand the function

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between gen 1 and gen 2 systems?
Asked by TedM.
- A:Answer The main difference is that Gen 1 is dual band (2.4 and a single 5ghz channel), while Gen 2 is Tri-band (2.4 ghz and two 5ghz channels). The 2nd 5ghz channel is used to transfer data between the hubs quicker. The company recommends that if your internet speed is over 500mbps you should use Gen 2.

Q: QuestionDo I need an additional router for this or can I just use my modem and these 3 beacons?
Asked by Jn.
- A:Answer No additional router is required. One of the units plugs into the modem as a base unit and transmits to the others creating 3 zones.

Q: QuestionCan the eero ac dual band mesh wi-go system 3 pack be up greaded. to the next WiFi ax in the future.
Asked by Geo1948.
- A:Answer Yes. The nice thing about Eero is you can mix and match Eero, Eero Pro, and Eero Beacon. Once Eero comes out with WiFi 6 hardware, you'll likely be able to add them to an existing Eero environment.
