It is without a doubt a touchscreen. I am in computer sales in TX and can confirm this is full touch screen.

While I don't have any hard proof of the assertion,if it's convertible into a tablet configuration, chances are it has a touchscreen. Or it'd be a real boneheaded move on HP's part if they didn't. Besides, touch support is required for Windows Ink support and this machine comes with a pen in the box.
