“What is the special ink maintenance cartridge thingy? When and why would it be used? Epson ET-4750”

• The printer doesn’t use cartridges. It has black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink reservoirs. I haven’t had to do any maintenance on mine yet, but there are options to clean the printer head, align the printer head and clean the paper rollers if the print quality becomes poor.

• Hi, The EcoTank ET-3850 does not use cartridges. It has refillable ink tanks, so cartridges are not compatible or necessary. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
