Just because it has an ADF and can p-r-i-n-t two-sided, does not mean it will SCAN both sides of a document in ADF mode. I got burned on this issue with the ET-3760 which I was led to believe did double sided scanning thru its ADF and it DOES NOT.Answered by GaryC

- A: AnswerYes, you are correct, if maximum resolution is selected. But, it may not always be noticeably sharper to print in 5760 x 1440 vs 4800 x 1200. This kind of differential tends to be more noticeable with photos and graphics. But, this printer is NOT a photo printer. It's also NOT an enhanced paper-size printer. So, with standard size text, in my opinion, the maximum resolution differences with the two printers, ET-3850 and ET-2850 may not be appreciable to the naked eye.
