I understand that Epson recommends printing with the ET-5170 at least every couple of weeks to prevent clogged print nozzles. If that's correct, is it necessary to print in multiple colors each time or just printing black text each time is adequate?

Answered by EpsonHello duplex. The ET-5170 can only do Automatic 2-Sided printing. Unfortunately, the ET-5170 does not include Automatic 2-Sided scanning. We recommend looking at ET-5880 as the printer includes Automatic 2-Sided print, copy, scan, and fax functionality.
