“With a "wireless" connection, and the printer's built-in WiFi for connection purposes, am I going to be able to connect to my computer with a Windows 7 Professional operating system? I know nothing about WiFi! Will the 2 connect automatically / easily?”

If your windows 7 computer has wireless wifi and connects to it then yes it will connect to this printer. I have two Epson wireless printers and my laptop connects to both of them.
