This printer pays for itself in just the first month. I have printed 400 pages so far and the ink tanks are still completely full. It’s compact enough to fit on my desk yet extremely powerful. I also like that it will print double sided if you choose this option. Also AirPrint compatible with my iOS devices.

    Tank-less at its best

One of the greatest features of this printer are the ink reservoirs. No ink cartridges. Simply take a bottle of ink flip it on top of the tank and it fills. Unlike those cartridge refill kits, there is absolutely no spilling, which really surprised me. It was a nice, easy, and clean process. Also, the ink bottles are relatively inexpensive. The ink tanks definitely solves the problem of expensive ink cartridges. Wondering how much ink is left? Easily see the exact level while looking at the front of the printer. Very small form factor as well. Fits perfect on the side of my desk. I have been using it mostly for work and it has been great. Printing 130 pages at a time and printing them relatively fast. I’ve easily printed about a ream worth of paper and I am still have well over ¾ of the black ink left. The printer is a bit louder than other printers but nothing too horrible. As with many Epson printers, it is Wi-Fi compatible. The Wi-Fi is easily setup via the computer, just plug in a USB cable for setup and then unplug. Its that easy. The printer also has its own email address that you can setup through Epson and is, of course, Google Print compatible. Definitely read the quick start guide before installing. It is not like other printers that are simply plug and play. The ink needs to be “charged” in the printer, which is of course completely automated, before you start to install. This takes about 10 minutes. Total time to install is between 15 and 20 minutes. Nothing to bad, especially for the quality of the printer. Onboard ink tanks are a huge cost saver

I have been looking at/for an ink tank printer/system for some time, due to the high cost of constantly replacing ink cartridges. I was very excited to hear about the Epson EcoTanks series! The printer claims it can print 5k+ pages on a single fill of ink which amounts to approximately 30 cartridges. The printer was VERY easy to set-up. It comes with an easy to follow, quick set-up guide, and some initial bottles of ink which are enough to prime the system and still leave tanks topped off. After a thorough check to assure all packing materials/tape had been removed from the printer, I followed the instructions to fill the ink tanks. I was a little nervous about handling liquid ink after hearing of messy spills from other brands of ink tank systems but Epson has made the process extremely easy. The bottles are keyed to only fit their specific color and the bottles have built-in internal valves that prevent spillage. I didn’t spill a single drop or even have any runs on the bottle or in the printer. I must point out that the ink levels in the tanks do not appear as on packaging. The tanks are a very opaque white with all the colors looking more like black. You can still easily see ink levels, but they are not as bright and evident as portrayed in Epson advertisements and packaging. The printer then does an initial prime where it sucks ink into all the internal hoses and print head. This process takes about 10 minutes and drains about 1/8 tank of all ink colors, however, Epson includes just enough ink in the included bottles to top-off the tanks after priming the system. Next is a print head alignment procedure which was fairly straightforward. I then installed the printer software on my laptop according to the included directions. The software installed very easily, even though it did give a file permission error while creating the new printer, however, everything still completed successfully. The software even set-up the Wi-Fi on the printer without requiring me to enter any Wi-Fi info manually, of which I am very thankful. It copied my current laptop Wi-Fi info onto the printer. If you wanted a different Wi-Fi network, I assume you would have to enter it manually. After printing several documents and photos, the print quality overall is excellent. The printer defaults to a “Standard” quality setting which works fine for text documents but proves a little grainy for color photographs. The “High” print setting on plain paper gives even, non-grainy pictures but the colors are fairly muted. Printing “High” on premium glossy photo paper gives a clear, crisp, and vibrant photo, however, it took nearly 5 min to print the full 8.5x11 borderless photo. The scanner is fairly standard for today’s printers. It produces nice, high-resolution scans with accurate color. Overall, I am very happy with the printer and would definitely recommend it. Time will tell how well it holds up to extended use. I have used Epson All-in-One printers in the past, and they have held up well. My most recent printer was an HP All-in-One and I’m actually glad to be going back to Epson. Pros: 1. Easy to set-up and configure. 2. Easy and mess free filling of ink tanks. Extra ink to accommodate initial priming of system. 3. Excellent print quality for both text and photos (in High quality setting). 4. Replacement ink is around $20 per color which will give another 5,000+ pages. Much more economical than $20 per cartridge for 150+ pages. 5. Air-print capable for iPhone, as well as Wi-fi and Epson Connect (email direct to printer). Cons: 1. As with most current printers, feels very flimsy and light. Lots of plastic. 2. Paper loads in an upright stack in the rear. I prefer a covered paper tray to limit amount of dust into unit. 3. Printer’s display is a very small square compared to other Epson and HP models. Readable, but very small. This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

    Pretty Nice Printer

The Epson Expression EcoTank has changed my opinion on the use of liquid ink and performance. This printer has helped me accomplish so much more in less time and no more shooting out pages with half of the design printed on top. The Epson Printer really has helped me reduce the need for cartridges of ink, and I honestly get more pages printed without really reducing or lowering the ink so quickly. Plus, with that front viewing area where you refill the ink levels makes life so much easier to know how much is left. I did read the little quick guide to getting started. It's quite easy to understand and took me a few minutes to get the device up and running. The disc drive does come with the device, so there is no need to go online for the drive to download, but that is also a possibility. However, I love having it all there for me. Mainly, I use this printer at my house for business and personal prints of patterns and photos. I am always looking for the perfect color to come through when I print photos, getting the exact image that it should look like but on paper. Of course, the size of this printer is perfect for my counter top which it sits beside my computer. It doesn't take up much space and is very easy to turn on and use daily. Also, there is the extra little slot on the front side, which allows for a memory card. Another bonus feature, which I do enjoy. It allows me to simply print from the SD card without any device connected. Plus, I can set up my smartphone to print and print right from it. As well, there is the scanning capability on this device as well as many of the features most printers include on an all-in-one. I normally always buy an all-in-one printer, which this is. I always felt they provide me with what I need for my business and home use. Plus, I do enjoy the duo side printing, which I feel makes use of an entire page of paper without wasting one side. Finally, I really have nothing negative to mention about this printer. I just really enjoy the wireless printing, the speed and quality it gives me with every printed page, and how simple setup was from the first dayit arrived to my house. Honestly if someone wanted my recommendations for a great printer, well this printer would be on top of all choices. It really is one of the best I've ever ownded! “This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Great Printer-Scanner-Copier With LOTS Of Ink!

Review of Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer. When I got the Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer I found it easy to un-package. I split the tape on the box and grabbed the plastic bag and pull the printer up out of the box. Then using the included guide, I removed the blue packing strips. Next I plugged it in and loaded the ink. This looked scary at first but it turns out that you just need to take your time to get the ink bottle lined up right. As noted after the ink is loaded it does take 10 minutes to “charge” the ink distribution but it is just a matter of waiting after you start the process. Then you load some of the remaining ink. I chose to connect the Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer to my network via WiFi. It was a pretty straight forward process. I got hung up because I didn’t click on the next button so I didn’t see the keys description. I couldn’t figure out how to switch from upper to lower case. After I found the switch key it was just a matter of entering my pass-phrase. I printed some pages next and I was amazed at the print quality compared to my 3-year-old Brother printer. Next I scanned a couple of pages. Last I copied the previously scanned pages. The resulting quality of 300 dpi copy was so good it was hard to tell copy from original. One feature that I missed initially was that the Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer has a slot for Micro SD Cards/SD Adapters. This allows you scan items and save them to your Micro SD Cards. Very handy if you need to use “sneaker net” to get them to a non-networked device like a photo-lab. What didn’t I like about it? First of all, let me tell you that it doesn’t fax. For me that is not a deal breaker as I have started using online faxing services. I didn’t like how you stack the blank paper in the back instead of having a paper tray. I suspect that it results in a better, less prone to miss-feed of the blank paper. Making a copy or scanning a document requires you lift the scanner bed lid, insert your item to be copied/scanned, copy/scan it, remove item, repeat process for additional pages. Again, not a deal breaker for me as I seldom need to do more than one – three pages. The Epson WorkForce ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer is an amazing little printer with great features. Setting up a new printer can sometimes be difficult or problematic if the instructions are complicated, however with this printer everything was super easy. The quick start guide walks you through unwrapping the printer and fill the ink tanks. I was a little sceptic that it would be difficult or that ink would spill. However, the process was super easy, and I had no spills. You simply need to lift the lid of the printer until it clicks and then insert one bottle at a time into the right funnel. The bottles do not drip, and it only took at few minutes to have the ink tanks fully filled. I’m Looking forward to having ink for the next 2 years Once the printer is power on it will need to setup and detect the ink. This does take a bit of time 15-20 minutes but requires not interaction from the user. I’m using the printer with Wi-Fi and completed the entire setup on the screen. The screen on the printer is very small (think old feature phone) but it does work well for setting up the printer and also performing basic tasks. It is not a touch screen so you need to use the keypad for navigation. Printing is quick and quiet. For a printer this size I’m very impressed with the duplex feature (printing on both sides of the paper). It is great for saving paper and also makes reports/papers look more professional. Print quality for both text and graphics is super. The scanner works great for scanning photos and text, but I did miss having an automatic sheet feeder for the scanner. This would have made the printer a dream machine. When paper is loaded in the printer is does stick out the back of the printer, so it takes up a little more counter space. But having a straight paper path should reduce paper jams – so this is not a big deal. Mobile printing is great. Being able to print directly from my phone and having it ready when I come home is so great. I don’t know how I have survived without this before. The printer does have it owns webserver that can be used to configure and monitor the printer. This is an easy way to check printer status and configure the more advanced features. “This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

    Fantastic All in one Printer

This printer is an all in one printer (eg: Scan, Copy, and Print) During my testing, I have done several things: 1. Basic unboxing. 2. Basic configuration. 3. Advanced configuration. 4. Tests. 5. Pro's and Con's. 1. Unboxing: The printer arrived extremely well secured in its own vary vivid box. The box is very colorful and have a visual representation of most of the printer settings, Such as Wi-Fi-Direct, Apps, Print specs etc. This is a good indication for all the options available for the user, and visually appealing. The "Device" was very secure within the main box and should "survive" common shipping providers driving conditions. In addition, Epson secured the printer itself by using easily removable tapes on almost every corner and attachment. The inkbottles were also airtight sealed, which was great so there was no chance of leakage. From "boxing" perspective, this was great outcome. 2. Basic configuration: There were a few options for this specific model ET-2750: a. Use the disk provided to install software. b. Go to the website and download the utilities. c. Plug via USB and let your computer recognize. (I used windows 10, which automatically grabbed appropriate drivers [not utilities]) Sadly, this printer only support either Wi-Fi or USB Cable. I personally wished this printer had Ethernet. Ethernet will always be more reliable, less interferences and more secure. That being said, this printer have Wi-Fi/WiFi-Direct and also direct Ethernet might not be an option for everyone to have The ability to connect directly to a router or a switch (or don't even know what it means). Important to mention, that there are no added cables in the box other then the power cable, so no USB cable. That to me was a negative star; I assume this is a cost decision but since A USB cable is so cheap today; I cannot find the logic in not providing one for a device that supports it. Once you install the basic drivers and utilities, the printer can now print with no issues. Basic configuration was extremely user friendly and does go over the steps with the user Either via the computer screen or even via the built in screen. It is NOT a touch screen, so all movements are done via the physical buttons next to the screen. The basics are: Network configuration, Printer configuration and account configuration. Installing the ink was a breeze, and it does seems it should last for a very long time with the size of the compartments. 3. Advanced configuration: This section I can write about for hours, so I will do my best to condense the information in laymen terms. This printer, being a network printer have also its own configuration webpage. Once you set the printer onto your network go to its IP (internal IP) on your browser and immediately you will get into the configuration page. Now, on the top you will see a drop down menu where you can then select from "Basic Settings" to "Advanced Settings". I HIGHLY recommend doing so, and the FIRST thing I recommend is to go to Administrator Login and change the password. Epson ship out the printer with no password (blank), which doesn’t make sense in my eyes but I recommend immediately change that to a secure password. As mentioned, now that you are an administrator you can change every aspect of the printer, any config and every setting which is fantastic. I will not go over every single option, since you can check it out for yourself. However, there is one setting that I want to mention here which I found very lacking (sadly) - SSL.... The printer automatically default to HTTP on port 80, I wanted to explore the option to enable SSH on port 443 to secure the connection and enable HTTPS. Most devices will allow you to create a self-signed Cert and enable https. I believe so this printer allows that too, but that being said it was very hard to get that going. I was able to easily enable https, but due to bad cert browser would not connect and I needed to reset the network settings to default since I also checked the "redirect http to https". No matter how much I tried, I could not get a self-signed cert to work and eventually I gave up and disabled https. I intend to contact Epson in regards to that, since network security is very important to me, and I consider myself an advanced user I want this to work. When I compare these options to many other devices I own, this was by far the hardest to figure out how to do so. So hopefully Epson can educate me where I made a mistaken. In addition, very important to mention - in order to fully utilize the printer you will want to utilize the advances config for "Google Cloud Print/Drobox scan integration" etc. You can by simply creating an account with EpsonConnect and follow all the instructions. It will make it much easier if you do so via the printer webpage as i described above. 4. Tests: I have done multiple test with this printer, one cool thing about this printer that during initial setup it is very descriptive and print out multiple pages and ask you to enter the best results so it auto calibrate the system. Ink tanks look good and u can visually see how full they are. Print quality is high. I tested scanning, I received an error one time but re-try worked with no issue. My guess it was a network issue as I tested scanning to cloud. Tested printing in color and in B/W, quality was good and printer did not fail. 5. Pro's and Con's. Pros: *. Multiple features: Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Card Reader, Cloud Support, very long life ink system, Scan, Copy, Print, etc. *. Well-built and sturdy. *. Great Packaging. *. Good software utilities. *. Epson fantastic 2 year’s warranty. *. Outstanding "Cloud" Support and feature. (Remote print, remote scan, email to print etc). *. Comes with physical disk with the sofrware and drivers (a nice addition since everyone else ommiting that and redirecting users to a download which can be an issue with those who dont use internet or slow speeds) Cons: *. No USB cable. *. No Ethernet option. *. Hard "advanced configuration" settings (SSL). *. No indication for the app name in Apple Store and Google Play. (It’s called Epson iPrint). *. Cannot update firmware via the app, must use a computer. *. To fully utilize the printer capabilities you need to jump through hoops in configuration, which will be difficult for the common household. I really love this printer. It was super easy to setup and start using. I can now print from my Smartphone and Laptops wirelessly. It is also great that it can print two sided documents. Filling the ink tank I figured would be messy but it was actually very easy and I had no mess at all. The bottles of ink have a special tip that matches a key in the tank for easy refill. It came with the four colors of ink. The black bottle is a bit larger than the colored inks which is great cause this is what I use most of the time. Since the first day it has worked great. I know since using this great printer I will not be going back to cartridge ink styled printers. I really think all printers need to convert over to the tank style ink. The ink should last me forever. I will be referring this to all my family and friends. Epson Scores Again

Started using on Nov. 3, 2017 Packaging wasn’t overdone but the unit was very secure and safely packaged. Set up was simple. I easily followed the Quick Instruction sheet along with the read out on the panel of the printer. It was surprising how easy the ink filled into the unit. I put a glass tray under the printer when I was filling it so if anything spilled it wouldn’t stain my counter top. Not one drop was spilled!! If the prompts on the printer are followed, the WIFI hook up is simple. It found the home network right away. I was able to connect my laptop and iPad without issues. I happened to get this printer at a perfect time for me as I am working on a fundraiser and printing out a lot of tags and color logos for various donors. The colors are rich and look as good as my Epson Artisan 835 and my Dell 1230c pages. Being that the ink supply is supposed to last for 2 years or approximately over 5000 pages I am certain I won’t run out of ink. Also… this unit has an email address!! So, if I am away and I want to print something I can email it to my dedicated email and it will be ready when I get home. Also, if someone wants to send me a document, they also can email it to that same address and it will print on my printer. That is something new for me. Wow!! Technology is great!! It worked first time I tested it. There were a few items I could not find in the manual. It isn’t detailed enough especially for someone that may be new to a printer setup. An important thing for me was how to lower the touch pad. My Artisan 835 has a release button and I couldn’t find one on the ET-2750 but that is because one isn’t needed. Nice improvement! Also, the set-up menu it referred to was confusing as I couldn’t find it and the manual didn’t show where it was. But once I turned on my laptop it all worked out. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a dependable printer. My old Epson is about 6 years old and is still working great…I would expect the same service from this one. I HATE INK CARTRIDGES! I heard about the Epson EchoTank concept and was really curious. Was going to buy a first generation model which was on sale but by time I got to the store, they were out of that model. Unpacking is straightforward. I read some of the reviews online and they seemed to be expressing caution on filling the ink so I was concerned, but ultimately very pleased by how the process worked. I was very impressed with the amount of ink/size of the ink containers that came with the printer. After taking the top off the bottle, you tip it onto the opening for the proper ink tank and push down. This opens the flow and the ink pours in. What is cool that when the ink reaches the right level, the flow stops. You lift the bottle out and recap. I had absolutely no ink leakage while removing the bottle. The filling process has two steps, initial fill and charge, then a top off. Even after the top off, there is still a little ink in each bottle. Wireless setup has been reported by some to be a bit finicky. I found that to be the case as well but thankfully my router has a WPS pairing button and that worked flawlessly. Printing is of decent quality. It is of decent speed on black only jobs but much slower, even at normal quality, for color jobs. I have been using the device for about a month now and cannot see any evidence of ink depletion in the tanks. It is cool that you can see the ink level from the front directly. While there is software estimation of ink levels, Epson says that it is purely an "Estimation" I like that it uses a rear paper feed exclusively. This makes printing card stock and thick paper bonds quite easy. Printers that do a bottom paper feed have to flip the stock 180 degrees in only an inch or so and that does not work with thicker stock. A good feature is the 2 sided printing support. I have done this on 24 Lb stock and it worked quite nicely. Scanning uses the typical Epson Scan driver/utility which does well for simple jobs. Have not tried a really high quality scan of photos but suspect decent results. Speaking of scanning, I do have a little beef with Epson not including an Auto Document Feeder to make easier work of multi-page documents. You must buy a much higher end version of the EchoTank series to get that. ADFs are pretty common on even $69 dollar All-in-One devices. I am not impressed with the small size of the LCD screen. Menus are a bit difficult to read due to the 1.5 X 1.5 inch size. This is 2019. Making it a bit bigger would not have cost much more and would have allowed for better more intuitive menus or better status displays. I must admit the first month has worked out well and I am hoping to see the tank still with ink in 2 years.

    Saves Money On Ink

Finally a somewhat affordable ink jet that will not break the bank when it comes time to replenish the ink. This has ink wells unlike the the cartridge models. It had come to the point you could buy a new printer cheaper than replacing the ink cartridges. Several other nice things about the printer: the footprint is a nice size. Some of the ink well printers take up a large amount of space, this one does not. The prints are acceptable although I think if I used a higher quality print mode they would be better, I tend to focus on economy. The scanner is very good but don't expect to do anything larger than a letter size page. I was hoping for a touch screen for functional purposes but instead there is an arrow pad, not a problem. Back to the ink wells, the printer comes with two complete refills. There are easy to see tanks which lets you know when they need filling and the filling itself is a snap. The bottles have an auto stop which stops the flow of ink when the tank is full and best of all you never spill a drop. I was not sure that part would work but it did. Worth the entire purchase. I gave it a 4 star because the color is not good enough for photo printing. There are other printers with more colors that allow for this but as I was not doing photos I saved the money. Otherwise very worth purchasing. Finally I can print without worrying about buying cartridges that cost more than the printer.

Easy to set up. Filling the printer ink into the eco-tanks works well. The LCD screen is useful during the set up and operation. The wireless feature is great and is straightforward to get going. The print quality is good for plain paper; haven't tried photos yet. The design is compact, which makes locating the printer easy. Overall, very satisfactory.

Small and compact. Easy setup and prints clean clear pages. WiFi works perfectly. Plenty of ink - no more scrimping on what to print. The scanner and copier work great. The only down side is that you can’t copy or scan multiple pages thru paper feed. Every copy needs to be done individually. Overall I’m very please with this purchase.

Easy to setup. Takes a bit of time though. About 10 minute to unpack, connect to network and load ink. 10 minutes for ink to prime (this only has to be done on initial setup). 5 or 10 minutes to align print heads.

If you have kids and/or a home office buy this. I was burning through ink cartridges and a BB associate recommended this printer plus at the time if you brought in a old printer there was a $50 rebate. Pro: Bought a year ago and the ink is still 3/4 full with two kids in middle school and running a home office. Ink is cheap when a refill is needed but so far no fill has been needed. In home wireless was easy copy, scan awesome - easy - and if anyone still has a fax you can do that through a app. It's quiet Cons: Now I had a think for a con but pic quality is not as good as a laser...and I knew that when buying so not really a issue for me but this is not a photo printer and don't expect it to be. The mobile app is terrible and rarely will print from your tablet or phone and if it does eventually print it will be in a super large scale or very tiny...really you have no idea what will happen when you print from a phone or tablet. That may be a deal breaker for some but not a big deal for me.

I wanted a printer that was miserly on ink. I've been frustrated by frequent low-ink indicators on printers I've had, and the cost of ink being outrageous. Less expensive refills have been disappointing. This promises to be very economical with ink and print thousand of pages right out of the box, so we'll see. Set up was easy; loading the ink was straightforward. Directions were clear. I find the user interface on the screen less than intuitive and it took me awhile to figure out its logic. The cover of the scanner doesn't articulate so it is tough to copy or scan books. Two-sided printing works well, and is a nice feature I've not had before. Print quality is fair--fine for documents and articles, but I haven't found that photos copy or print very true. It is a decent all-in-one for the low $200 range. It meets expectations, but doesn't surpass them.
