A: Mine did this also. Just falls down flat when I lift it.
Q: Will this printer print on cardstock? Will it print on light weight papers, like vellum?
A: Yes, you can print on cardstock. Your remaining question cannot be answered at this time.
Q: What is the difference between the Epson et2650 and the et2750?
A: Not sure where folks get their info. ■2750 prints dual sided. 2650 does not. ■ 2750 has USB just like 2650. ■ 2750 prints color at 5ppm vs 2650 4.5 ppm ■ 2750 gives a couple more wireless print options out of the box but the 2650 may be able to have access to the same options via an update. ■ One small upside to the 2650 actually has nothing to do with the printer. The 2650 comes with 2 years worth of ink at 800 pages per month. The 2750 comes with 2 years worth of ink at 150 pages per month.
Q: Can you use this for sublimation printing for t shirt and etc?
A: Yes, this printer can be used for sublimation printing.
Q: Hi, does this printer already have the ink bottles or do i have to buy it separate?
A: Great printer. Ink bottles included in package.
A: If you find yourself buying printer cartridges more often that you want to, then I would say YES. If you don't recall the last time you purchased a print cartridge or don't do a lot of printing then the only advantage I see is the ability to do automatic double sided prints with the ET2750. I don't know the print quality of the XP424, but we have been very satisfied with the quality of the ET2750. I can tell you without question that after spending over $100 on ink cartridges for an HP printer in two months, I would not trade my ET2750 for any other printer.
A: When the printer is powered off the print head is parked in a protected holder which makes it harder to dry out. I have seen printers work after a month's vacation with no problems. As for a year I would expect a problem. However, depending on storage conditions it just might still work!
Q: Will this printer work with eco solvent ink?
A: My short answer is I don't know but as long as the viscosity (property of flow and thickness) is the same it should work for awhile. As this printer is designed to work with certain inks, a change to something else may result in damage to the print head or other components. At any rate, $50 for at least 2500 pages with no disposable cartridges is way more eco-friendly compared to $70 for disposable cartridges that give you maybe 200 pages no matter what kind of ink is in it. I've been waiting for this printer for years.
