Hello, this printer is also a inkjet, if your afraid of the print getting wet you can spray a light coat of clear over the print, I usely do that because it makes the colors really pop and ,clear comes in matte, satin,glossy.

Please try again later.I've not had any issues with the ink running together, I can say this particular printer has a maintenance box for used ink and I got a message on the printer and desktop that it needed to be changed in about 1 1/2 months after I got the printer. I've only had this printer just before Christmas and I hope that this maintenance box doesn't need changing every 2 months or so.
