⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Professional Prints at Home – Epson Exp

I bought the Epson XP-15000 to step up my photo printing game, and it has exceeded my expectations. The print quality is stunning—sharp details, rich colors, and smooth gradients that make my images look gallery-ready.
The fact that it can handle borderless prints up to 13x19 inches is a huge plus. I’ve printed everything from postcards to large wall art, and every piece comes out looking professional.
Setup was simple, and the wireless connectivity means I can print directly from my laptop, tablet, or even my phone without a mess of cables. It works flawlessly with both Windows and Mac.
I also appreciate the individual 6-color ink system, which gives photos a wider color range and saves money since I only replace the colors I use up.
It’s surprisingly compact for a wide-format printer, fits nicely on my desk, and runs quietly compared to other printers I’ve owned.
If you’re serious about photography, crafting, or just want to print beautiful, true-to-life images at home, this printer is worth every penny.

I needed to find a Wide Format Printer since I print on glossy paper of different sizes that go up to 13 x 19. I found that the Epson Expression HD XP-15000 was the Perfect Fit for my needs. Very easy to set up and start Printing. You can choose which options you want either thru the Software on your Computer or thru the onboard controls on the LCD screen on the adjustable front panel. Ink for this printer comes in Regular and XL Sizes and Prices for ink are very reasonable. You have a 6 color ink Cartriges which include Red and Grey (which come in the XL Size Only).
The Prints from this Printer are absolutely Astonishing! Definitely worth the investment.
If you want a Wide Format Printer with reasonably priced ink cartridges, beautiful Prints, and don't want to make the jump to the way more expensive Eco-Tank Models, then the Epson - Expression Photo HD XP-15000 is for You!
This printer can be set up through USB or Wifi ( I always us the USB Option, personally!) The LCD controls are easy to use. You have Options for many different Printing Papers and Sizes. Excellent Printer for my needs.
You can also use the Plastic Wrapping that comes in the packaging as a Dust Cover.

I love this printer. It is easy to setup and use. Vibrant colors and clear prints. I don’t think I will ever use a different printer again. It has an extend tray if you needed to printer longer pages. Love it

Liking this printer

I really like this printer! I am using it for regular text print (not much) and amateur photograph printing in a full range of sizes from 4 x 6 glossy and 8.5 x 11 to 13 x 19 Pro Platinum by Canon. Ink shouldnt be a problem with lots of alternatives on line if Epson trys to charge too much just to keep the warrantee. I liked the packaging and set-up... good and easy... cleaning tools came with... no test paper though... thought that was a little cheap, since part of the set-up is to test the printer!

Better than Artisan 1430 for finite details, text!

Ok so since I could not find this information anywhere, hopefully this will help others. This is the printer that replaces the Epson Artisan 1430. I was having problems with my 1430 so I purchased this XP-15000 hoping it would be as good. Trust me it is BETTER. The finite details are amazing. White and text prints extremely clear, way better than the 1430. This new color pattern uses a gray cartridge to adjust color level, so colors are slightly different. In all honestly the 1430 may have a slightly better color pattern, but the print quality (detail) of the XP-15000 is far superior. Just be aware this printer will not allow the use of 3rd party ink (as of now).

I purchased this printer exclusively for photo and art printing, as it was well reviewed for those purposes. I have digital artwork I wanted to print in wide format. The setup took a little longer than I am used to for a printer, but the results have been excellent and definitely met my expectations, accurately printing a full color 10x19 image created on my iPad Pro with no banding.

But ink cartridges are small so only a small amount of prints and you are out of ink, plus cartridges are hard to find. Not to happy about that! I won't be able to afford to print my own art work.

This product is not a good product to use. The tray gets jam and now the print quality is less when you try to fix it. You still have lines going through your pictures. I only had this device only less than six months of buying it. I only did one project and I can’t even do a second project. This is wasteful ink and Best Buy sold this piece of crap. The insurance seem more than the printer.

This printer did everything I wanted- but like with most things it doesn’t come without down sides. This is probably the cheapest printer you can get and get this type of quality and color gamut.
For me especially, I’m printing graphics and was really struggling getting a decent bright vibrant red. Most printers make red by mixing magenta and yellow…which mean that the lighter the red, the more dull it is (bc it has a higher concentration of yellow which washes out the vibrancy of the magenta) the darker it is though the more it looks like a burgundy than a dark red. The red ink in this printer solved this problem…without me having to shell out 600-1000 for a true blue photography printer (which I didn’t really need).
The vibrancy on ALL the colors including red were pretty amazing. And the print quality was a lot better than my HP photo envy (although that might not say much lol). And of course the color gamut is going to be the best you can get without purchasing an expensive photography printer like the canon pro series (that has even MORE inks and is therefore even more expensive on in). This would be great for a hobbyist or photographer that need a desktop printer that can also print a nice photo once or twice a week.
A more minor consideration (unless you have limited space in your work area like I do), is that when you get into large format photography printers, the printers get freaking GIANT. This printer is very compact and only a little larger than my HP which is a minor miracle.
But it’s time to talk about the downsides. Ink. I knew going into this that buying ink was going to be expensive. My HP used a tricolor cartridge which meant that if one color went out you had to change the whole thing…. These are all separate which mean I kind of buy them as they go out- since epson does free shipping. Something I do like is that when your ink tank is completely empty, epson won’t let you print anymore….on my HP they gave reminders but you didn’t really know one was empty until the print started getting bad. So I order the ink when the “low ink” reminder comes on, but keep printing until epson won’t let you- good to the last drop! Then replace only the ink it states is out. Seriously though, go to the epson site and add up all the ink costs so you’re prepared (I recommend XL version which is a better deal). I will say that I find my black, red and gray don’t go out as often which is nice since the CMY inks are a little cheaper.
For this reason, this will NOT be the printer for you if you do a lot of volume- if you sell stickers or do your own art prints for your business, I’d look at the epson eco tank 8500/8550 which seems to be a similar quality just without the red ink- the ink tank models are incredibly efficient on ink- the bottles it comes with can last from 1-2 years. But for the reasons I mentioned, I needed the red ink and my volume is really low so I’m ok with the ink costs.
But something to be aware of when you start getting into printers designed for photography printing if you typically buy desktop printers (that only have CMYK inks), like I did is there’s going to be a learning curve. My HP photo envy was extremely reliable, rarely had a misprint- I clicked print and it would print..no muss no fuss. My epson, bc it has more capabilities etc, is a lot more finicky. I’ve done more nozzle checks, printhead alignments, etc. in a month than I think I did with my HP in a year lol. It’s like switching from a Toyota Corolla to a Corvette. That being said, I’m glad I purchased the geek squad add on…these days even higher quality devices are more cheaply made, and I’m glad I’m covered if something happens.
There’s also a lot more media and print settings on this, which mean a lot of testing. Personally, I’ve found I get the best results (if I’m not using a profile) on epson controls color- Epson Adobe RGB color setting and High quality (of course) but if you’re using profiles etc, you’ll need to do some testing.
Honestly though, I love this printer. Things I printed from my HP, that I thought were great quality look washed out and more grainy in comparison and it’s a relatively cheap price for this kind of quality….but it’s important to know the downsides and make sure that the benefits are worth it for you….keep in mind that you’re going to have expensive ink costs with any photography printer you buy (since they have more colors etc)…the epson eco tank 8500/8550 is the exception which are more photography quality than the previous eco tank models.
