Hi GMJC, Yes. When you scan photos with the Expression Photo XP-970 you can restore faded photos. If you scan in Photo Mode, you can use Color Restoration to correct color in faded images, Backlight Correction to lighten darkly backlit images, and Dust Removal to remove dust on scanned images.
