Scanning speed depends on the resolution (dpi) and whether its color or black and white. If you're scanning a photo, be patient and use the higher resolution, for other things, you can get away with a lower resolution and faster scan. Play with the settings to see what works for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The speed of the scanner bed is dependent on the number of pixels or dots per inch selected for the quality of the scan. Higher pixels(dpi) = slower speed. A scan quality with a pixel selection of 300dpi is faster than a selection of 600dpi, however the quality of the 600dpi is twice as good as the quality of the scan at 300dpi(dots per inch). This slow down is relative to low cost printer/ scanners.
