“I have an old Epson that has been great. It is an ink jet, but when I print documents and then use a (wet) highlighter pen on the printed text the ink smears. Will smearing happen on printed text from this model also?”

Ink jet has a problem with highlighters. My laser printer is better with highlighters. Dry powder in cartridge .
