A:AnswerHi Robert, If you send a print job to the WF-7840 and a messages pops up on your Windows computer saying the printer is out of black ink, cancel the print, then open the printer driver settings menu, select Black/Grayscale and resend the print job. Printing with one or more expended color cartridges works with plain paper and envelopes. Instructions for Macs are in the WF-7840s user's guide. We recommend replacing expended cartridges as soon as possible to prevent ink drying around the nozzles and potentially damaging the print head. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHello Blondie. Yes, "Fit to page" is an included option that is available through the printer driver software for the WF-7840. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHello Alex. Photo Black is not required as the WF-7840 is a four-color printer that only uses Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. All colors are available in both sizes, the standard capacity product SKU should be T812, and the ultra-high-capacity ink cartridges should be T812XL. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
