• Yes, it does talk. The volume has to be up quite a bit to understand what the female voice is saying, but it's fairly clear.

• It tells you what band is making it go off, it tells you about red light cameras, and stores location to be more effective.

• Yes. The enduser also has the ability to mute the device at their choosing.

• Yes. When it detects a signal it will talk and say something like "K Band" in addition to beeping and changing the visual display on the front. You can turn the audio on or off but I prefer to leave it on.
