Like you my front door exits RIGHT onto the sidewalk of a very very busy street (both vehicular+pedestrian). While I do not have this model, I have had the E340 Video Doorbell installed for over 2 years. Within the settings (accessed via Eufy App) you can Select "Activity Zone", "Distance of Sensitivity", "Detection Type(s)" which can be individually toggled on/off ie Human Detection, Human Recognition, Vehicle Detection, Pet Detection, ALL Other Motions. IF you have your videos stored directly to the smart lock (not a HomeBase3 etc) it's easy enough to "Select All Today's Events" to delete them at the same time. I have the S330 Smart Lock on the door leading into garage from inside house. It has these same features. So I would "assume" the FamLock S3 does as well. FWIW - I've been very happy with all of my Eufy Security products.
