Its pretty much the same. You can add up to 8 people on this one. The background light is white now and not blue on the first one. Also on the first one you had to tap on the scale first and when it told you to then you stood on it. This one you just step right on and it starts. You get to pick a character for yourself also. That way if there is more then one person using it, when you see your character you know its set up for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.After the first year with the old one I had many problems with syncing and the overall speed of when it gave me the measurement. This one seems to work much faster and I have not had to reconnect it to WiFi at all in this time
