A:AnswerBestbuy no longer offers protection plans for FitBits as they have the highest incidence of problems of all products sold by BestBuy. They used to offer it and I just brought my FitBit Charge 2 in because it suddenly stopped charging and wouldn’t turn on. BestBuy refunded me the full purchase price I paid for the Fitbit and it had only about 1 week left to the 2 year plan. I am not sure if I will buy a FitBit unless they reinstate protection plans. I like the specs of the Versa 2, but my history with FitBits is sketchy and the protection plans were my insurance that I didn’t waste my money.
A:AnswerCharger is included, however, it is a different charger from the original versa. The cord is much shorter and attached at the bottom of the charging unit instead of the back or the side. The cord was maxed out reaching from my power strip to the night stand.
A:AnswerI bought versa 2 for my mom and she loved it. She only didn’t like the wrist band so I went to amazon to buy the stainless steel chain and it’s easier for them to use. The watch works fine without a smart phone. However you can set it to your phone if you like- so you can track the steps and activity level once the phone is close to the watch. The watch itself will track the numbers. I also bought one for myself and although I have it set up w my phone, I’m notorious at forgetting to bring my phone w me. The watch works without the phone near it
