- Answer Hello, CLee. Thanks for dropping in. If the surrounding temperatures do not exceed 110°F (43°C), you should be good to go. Temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and below will NOT affect operation. Also, ensure your freezer has space for good air circulation. We recommend leaving about a 4 inch (75 mm) space on all sides of the unit for adequate circulation. - Answer It is not designed to work in an environment where the external temperature goes below 10C. The internal components will deteriorate and the warranty will be voided.

- Answer Not this particular unit but my last upright freezer was a Frigidaire and it lasted more than 20 years so I chose this brand for that reason. Others were cheaper but dependability and lifespan is more important.

- Answer Hi Carp. Yes, for the most efficient operation, the appliance should be located where surrounding temperatures will not exceed 110°F (43°C). Temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and below will NOT affect operation. Additional compressor heaters are not recommended. ~ Anna
