You should at least get a 6,00o BTU which is 350 sf of cooling
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd go with larger. My bedroom is 160 sq feet and it does the job well, but I like the room cold. If you go to big, the AC compressor will kick on and off more and make a kicking noise from the compressor turning on and off, if you go to small, the AC compressor will never stop running and use more electricity. If you don't go bigger and stick with this AC, then buy a good fan to make sure air moves around more.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my opinion this will keep a bedroom of 250 sq ft very cool. The price is good for this model and so far I have had no problems. It's less than I paid many years ago for the same model but without electronic controls. That old one still works.
