It will only go in a window but has everything you need to install it.

I had it installed professionally simply because I live on second floor and this is rather heavy unit at 70+ lbs.! If you install it yourself, please make sure you use the installation kit that comes with it. Simply placing it in the window has potential risk of falling and someone seriously.
