Q: Does this unit come with a window bracket?
A: No it does not come with a bracket use the accordion Style spacers on each side of the unit that will expand it out to fit the window this unit is not meant for a wall mount it's meant for a window
A: Yes that’s what the box thing at the end is. If the power goes out and it doesn’t turn on check the buttons on it to make sure there in the right place.
A: I had the same issue, but the rail is actually so snugly packed that it is easily missed. It is tucked away along the edge of the top styrofoam packaging. It took three tries before I realized it was there.
Q: what side is the cord on and is it real noisy

A: The cord comes out of the bottom left (as you face the unit). The cord is quite long, probably 4ft.
A: The metal housing is about 21-1/2" wide and the plastic side frames add 1" each for a total width of 23-1/2" required and that would be extremely tight.
