Yes, it has slide out on each side to make it fit.

The unit itself is 21.3 inches wide, however, once you attach the side skirting that is also part of the window securement fairings it is a minimum of 24 inches. That is why the disparity in sizes. The base size is the bare mechanical unit itself, the minimum size is with the mounting and skirting attached to it.
