How quiet are the units? null

Pretty quiet! It’s not silent, but no AC will be, so definitely don’t expect that. All in all though we were a little surprised at how low the noise level is. Very happy with this one.

This is actually one of the quietest window air conditioner units I've owned. My biggest complaint with a lot of window units isn't just the sound of the AC but the various things that vibrate and make noise. I plugged this unit in and it just sounds smooth and solid. No extra vibrating parts. All I really hear is the sound of the air. If the TV is on, we'll typically increase the volume 1 bar or so to compensate. But, the 12,000 BTU unit was so quiet that I bought another of the same model, but 5,000 BTU to replace an older unit that would buzz and make all kinds of annoying sounds.

Unit works very well. I find it to be loud. What i like about it is i never hear the compressor slamming on or off. My last one use to startle me.

The unit is not quiet but I like the sound of unit . Soothing
