• Might mean 6 feet, 6 inches. Crazy LONG cord. Longer than any window unit I've had before

• The cord is 6 foot 6 inch which is about standard for appliances.. Unit is supplied with a Ground Fault Interrupt plug.. If an extension cord is required please ensure it is appliance rated,.

• Hello. This model air conditioner comes with an extra long three-prong cord, making extension cords unnecessary. The power cord is 6' (6-1/2'). We will have this corrected on the retailers website. Thank you. ~ Anna

• You will need an extension cord if outlet is further away than 6 feet from window where air conditioner is being installed. My outlet is further away and I use an extension cord and all is fine. This is a great ac.
