Yes, it comes with a adhesive magnetic pad. It adheres to dash or windshield. For quick easy mounting. But I think the image will be inverted.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To the best of my knowledge, this camera can only be mounted directly to the windshield in a somewhat permanent fashion. A magnet is permanently mounted to the windshield and they give you one extra adhesive disc in case you sell the vehicle or replace the windshield. They don't appear to offer any other options, not even suction cups for temporary mounting. If you put the disc on the dash, I think the video would always be upside down.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No-it won't mount to a dash. Mine is also on a US DOT regulated vehicle. It's a small magnet that goes on the windshield and the camera easily pulls off for storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on the texture of the dash. I have not had any luck getting things to hold if the dash is not smooth. This camera has a magnet that sticks to window or dash then the camera mount holds to the magnet. I am thinking you might be able to possibly screw the magnet to the dash to be move secure.
