“Does it keep the date and time for a while. I want to plug it into cigarette light but it is only powered when the car is running or on accessory. I've returned one competing brand already because it did require you to enter the date and time each time”

• Yes I have mine plugged onto the cigarette lighter and it keeps the date and time when not running.

• Yes, each time the camera is turned on it acquires a satellite signal, updating the date and time.
