How do I get other than California destinations on my gps. When I put in a city in another state it doesn’t compute. null

Be sure to give the state when you enter ( either by typing or voice command ) You may want to print the Owner's Manual from the Garmin Site. Also the questions and comments from the Best Buy page on this GPS was useful to me.

When searching for an address, this device will automatically search for matching addresses within the state or province where you're currently located. When near a state line, the device will also search in the neighboring state(s). To search for an address in a different state, you will need to change the “searching near” to the specific city you are searching for.
