Well you can, but it'll send you to small county roads.Im giving mine to the wife,and getting a truckers GPS.

I do not own Truck but found this on Garmin support site for this specific GPS and seems the answer is no. “At this time, Garmin does not offer truck routes or low clearance information available for download. Garmin does offer some truck-specific devices that provide truck-friendly routing options.”

A quick search and I was able to find a site that recommends truck needs GPS’s.
