Comes with a mount that adherea to window or dash and attaches to unit with a ball that snaps into backside of Garmin. A little difficult to snap in place but you do habe ability to swivel it to position to where you want.it. It has large viewing screen and even my passengers can.see.from backseat.

It can connect to your phone if you download their app. All I know is that it works and gets me around traffic jams if an alternate route is available. Also will connect to internet through wifi if available. Much more detail on traffic and street names than Tom Tom.
