A:AnswerTo answer your question about a split-screen on this Garmin. We traveled from the state of Mississippi thru Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. Depending upon the state we were in, the Garmin did show a split-screen when we were approaching our exits and if there was a fork in the road. However, this did not happen with all of these states. We don't remember which state complied with the split-screen but the directions were very good even without the split-screen. Hope that helps.
