The DriveSmart 66 includes new features like Live Fuel Prices, built-in Amazon Alexa and a dual USB charger that provides an extra charging port for phones, tablets or other electronics in your vehicle.

The DS66, 76, & 86, just have a good "Garmin Assistant" that actually works (limited functions). Many Good functions which the older devices have, that you would of assumed the New Updated devices should of obtained Some how where removed by "Garmin Software Engineers"; • No 'Shorter Distance' routing. Causing the Driver to take paths in an Opposite direction just to get them on the Frwy. to assume the path which seems Faster but is Longer-distances. • The Alternate Routes is obviusly not as practical as Alternate routes of smartphones. The one you will select Most of the time is the 1st route because the 2nd-route option is visibly Far bigger & Greater of a 'Longer-distance' which the 2 Routing options should of been comparable; as Near each other but one should include a Shorter-distance that should include Street paths; like driving a short Street to another Frwy. that is Parrallel of each other, instead of driving to the next Frwy that connect the Parrallel frwys together. • Other functions removed; Too Much to write, too explain! Who knows What these Garmin Software people where thinking, by removing things; "You would of thought where already inside the New devices. Until you buy it & Then Find Out, its Not there; What you (Assumed), You Paid for; isnt included"!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried the 55 and 66 and bought the 66 mainly because the 66 has Alexa and the voice recognition was far superior to the 55. It is a nice feature to input accurate destinations and verbally add stops when you are in-route. The 66 does have a duel USB port that I use for my phone.
