QuestionSome claim that the Garmin DriveSmart 66 sold at Best Buy is a "special edition (DriveSmart 66.se) as is the one sold at Walmart and is missing features that are standard on the Garmin DriveSmart sold at Amazon and other retailers. Are all 66's the same?

- Answer I noticed that the Garmin 66 at Walmart has a different model number. I was concerned that it might be a different model. I bought my 66 at Best Buy and I think it is the standard model. I watched many YouTube videos to learn about the different features and my 66 operates like the ones in the videos.

QuestionIs the problem where you have to purchase every time maps outside of North America been fixed? For example, going to England and purchased UK-Ireland maps, now rather than being able to update those maps have to repurchase again at full price ($99).

- Answer All devices will have included updates for pre installed mapping. Any additional mapping needs to be purchased and does not come with free updates.

QuestionHave a garmin nuvi56 it worked great.... till took trip... now will not recognize or store Arizona as home location. Keeps switching to another state. Is it fixable ? Do I need new machine

- Answer Mine has worked great. It sounds like you may need to do and update to see if new information is available. I took mine from NorCal to SoCal with out an problems. Try new updates might help.

- Answer I'm sorry, the DriveSmart 65 is not designed for use on motorcycles and has no off road mapping options. You want to look at the zumo XT for these needs.

QuestionI don't have a smartphone, so I cannot install the Garmin app. Although, my phone does hotspot and I have internet date. Can I get live traffic if I connect the Garmin unit to internet through wireless to my phone's hotspot. TomTom does that.

- Answer It doesn’t have a sustainable battery to be able to take it in pedestrian mode without a power supply. What manual? Only one I found is on the device. Rather have a book to review in my opinion.
