No. This unit is for automobiles. It plots routes and shows your position only. Garmin does have other units that will meet the requirements of large trucks and buses, however. Go to Garmin’s website and look under automotive. Then choose trucks. You will find several units that will plot the optimal route using the height and weight of your vehicle. There is one that will update in real time so that you know about slow traffic ahead on your route. These units will be more suitable to your requirements.
