“Do you need to manually record and delete the videos while driving? I'm looking for a camera that records once I start my car and stops when I turn it off with NO activation needed. Also does this camera overwrite files if not uploaded?”

You can use voice commands if you want to record a longer video, if the camera detects an incident (mine goes off when I hit the rumble strip on the highway) it creates a longer video. Any recordings you make through voice command or through "incident detection" will not be over written, all of the other video files are over written automatically one by one as the storage gets full. In my car, the camera comes on when I start it and shuts off when I turn the car off (as it does with all other usb powered devices).
