Shouldn’t matter much, if you buy a 32gb SD card the data won’t be over written for months, even if you have the mini 2 on 24/7. I had a 8 gb card and it didn’t over write for 6 weeks. You can get to the data anytime via your phone or take the SD card out and see the videos on your PC. For that matter, get two SD’s and swap them out every month if you like seeing where you’ve been or interested images. If you speak loudly enough I’m sure that both cameras would keep your recordings. They work independently of each other.
