The length of recording time depends on the size of the MicroSD you use in it. The camera records in 1-minute chunks as soon as you start your car, and compiles all the chunks into a single video clip when you turn off your car. When the memory is full, it will record over the oldest videos first. But you can go into the app and select specific videos to be saved permanently.

The maximum amount of footage that can be recorded or saved on a microSD card depends on the Dash Cam's video resolution setting and the size of the card.
