A:AnswerYes they are free updates. You get free lifetime map and traffic updates. Very Nice. You download the Garmin app to your computer. Connect your GPS and it brings up the updates you need to run. I always do a backup first within the program. It will save a backup to your computer. This program works like a charm. I update about 15 gps units with this one program.
A:AnswerThe nuvi 67LMT does have an internal battery, which charges whenever the device is connected to power.
The default supplied mount for your device is a suction cup which attaches to the vehicle's windshield. Other mounting options, such as dashboard friction mounts, are available as optional accessories, if desired.
