Q: QuestionI need to replace my over the range microwave. Model # JVM1440BD 003 Serial # SD 901717 B made in Sept 2002. What do you suggest for similar features and similar installation ( use the same brackets maybe ? :) ) - Bruce

• A:Answer Hi Bruce- We suggest GE® 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven JVM6172DKBB or GE® 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven JVM6175DKBB. Sensor Cooking Controls sense the humidity from the food while cooking and automatically adjusts time and power for delicious cooking results. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. Q: QuestionNeed to replace GE MW JVM1350WW 002? The microwave has dimensions of 29 3/4" width X 16 3/8" height X 12 7/8" depth. Also, I do not have any special venting. Can you recommend a replacement that would exactly fill the space above our oven.

Earlier this year, we moved and remodeled the kitchen, this time we went with GE’s slate. LOVE IT! Love it! Easy to clean, durable and a great look! Strongly recommend the slate!
