A:AnswerThe microwave oven I purchased was a replacement made to fit a 30 inch opening and it came with templates and brackets for mounting. If you look on the GE web site they have filler kits to complete the install for a 30 inch microwave. I hope this will help.

A:AnswerI’m not sure what microwave that it is you are replacing. We just stepped up to a nicer GE than our first one. The vent matched up but the support holes had to be re-drilled on the top. We really like this microwave so far. Sorry I’m not more help. Good luck.

The bottom of the cabinet that the microwave will be attached to show be 66" above the floor and 30" above the cooktop. These measurements are minimums. This is no maximum measurement, although keep in mind that the further away from the cooking surface, the less effective the vent fan will be. Keep in touch! - JB
