Q: Questionwhere do i need to cut a hole for the microwave power cord at from my over the range microwave. i have a cabinet above where it is going to be placed. Where is the actual location of the power cord on this microwave product model. JNM7196SKSS

• A:Answer Hi Char - Thanks for choosing GE! The power cord comes out of the top of the unit on the right side (facing the front of the microwave). It is approximately a 40" power cord (including the plug and base of cord). Q: QuestionI need to replace my XL1800 Spacemaker (JVM1850CD). It is white and mounted over an oven. It seems to vent forward (into the kitchen) and definitely not out of the house. Is the JNM7196DKWW a close replacement? Would it use the same mounting?

Q: QuestionWe have a GE profile OTR microwave model PVM9195SVC with exterior venting that needs replacement. What is the current replacement model for this size microwave at GE?

• A:Answer All of our over the range 30" microwaves do replace each other. We do have models JVM7195RWSS and JNM7196SKSS that would be great replacements. Please know you will have to use the hardware and brackets that come with the new unit.

Q: QuestionHello - I see the Reset Filter Light turned on which says to hold for 3 seconds. Do we need to replace filter after that? Attached the picture.

Models with an upfront filter have a Reset Filter notification light on the control panel to indicate when it is time to change the filter. The Reset Filter reminder will light every 6 months. After changing the filter, press and hold Reset Filter to reset.
