“The description for this washing machine mentions an "End-of-cycle signal" and there's a light on the front that says "signal on" but I can't find anywhere in the online docs that says whether the end of cycle signal is via Bluetooth or via Wifi? App?”

I had to read the manual link you posted (thanks) to interpret your answer - so "The end of cycle signal is part of the machine operation" translates as "it's an audible beep, and the signal button/light is actually a mute switch/mute indicator". :-)
