A:AnswerHello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. We do not have the number of gallons of watr when full, but to obtain the average water usage of our washers, we can look at the water factor (WF or iWF). The iWF is a calculation defined by the Department of Energy (DOE) and all manufacturers are required to publish this information. For Average Water Usage, calculate: Water Factor x Capacity = Average Water Usage. In this case the iWF is 4.1, so 4.1 x 2.2 Capacity = 9.02 Average Water Usage. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerHi Carla- Yes, the dispenser drawer is removable. Removal and cleaning instructions are provided on page 11 of the Owner's Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90369-4.pdf - Thanks for choosing GE. A:AnswerI would definitely *not* try to wash a comforter in this thing, but what's the worst thing that could happen? You'd have to drag it out, wet, wring it out and then take it to a commercial laundry to get finished. The drum is way too small. I wash my king set of linens all at once, and it's fine, but I don't think a comforter would be such a great idea.

A:AnswerHi Sami- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing our Front Load Washers! We have not tested other brand pedestals with this model. For safety, we are unable to recommend the use of a pedestal. Check out model GFWN1600JWW with Optional Pedestal Accessory SBSD137HWW (Sold Separately). Also, our RightHeight models GFWR4800FWW and GFWR2700HWW feature a 7" built-in pedestal that allows you easier access to your laundry without the added expense of buying a separate pedestal. Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerDid you ever find out what was wrong with your washer? Mine just started to do the exact same thing after I’ve had it for over four years - and it is making the 6 clicking sounds too.
A:AnswerHi Joey - Thanks for choosing GE! We are happy to provide assistance. The washer is designed to move 1/4” to reduce forces transmitted to the floor. This movement is normal. The shipping bolts and braces should not be removed prior to sliding the washer in place. Consult the Installation Instructions for removal of the shipping bolts: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90369-4.pdf - Make sure the washer is level.
The washer needs to be level and sitting on a good, solid floor. If the washer is uneven, adjust the rubber leveling legs so they are all firmly touching the floor and locked in place. The more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. Refer to the Installation Instructions for proper leveling. Unbalanced loads can cause the washer to vibrate more. Pause unit, open door and manually redistribute load. To check machine, run rinse and spin with no load. If normal, unbalance was caused by the wash load. The pump may be clogged. Consult your Owner's Manual for directions on cleaning the pump filter.
