“I have a standard size bath mat which gets a little heavy when it is washed. I usually watch it alone. Could the heaviness of the bath mat be an issue in the spin cycle and cause an imbalance load due to agitater? If so, how could I resolve it?”

Any single weighted item may cause the tub to get out of balance. Add a similar style rug or one or two large bath towels to help balance the load.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it would definitely cause a problem, in my experience! Throwing in another bath-size towel could level the load, I based this on my experience of washing a small load of whites and mine caused a imbalance!
