“Hi, newly received GE Unitized Waher Dryer. 1st load in washer, & the agitator sounds a little louder than expected. Should I be concerned, or is it because it's new? Thank you”

Hi Micci. This is Richard. Thanks for the question. It is because it is new. This noise will occur during agitation on a new washer when the brake pads are wearing with the breaking surface. This noise should go away after a short time. All the best!
