“I just brought a stackable model GUD27ESPMDG and the knob to the washer is very loose but yet won't start. Dryer works. What should I do?”

Hi PC - Thanks for choosing GE. We are sorry to hear of the difficulty with the washer. Turn the WASHER CYCLES knob to “wake up” the washer before each use. The LED lights will turn on when the washer is awake and ready to use. Select desired wash cycle, close the lid and press the Start button. If the Status lights are blinking, the operation of the washer has been paused. To resume operation press the Start button (the lid must be closed). The lid must be closed to continue filling when Precise Fill is selected. I love mine, But, Knobs are a bit tight!!! Good Luck, My Best Buy has always taken care of issues I have had in the past...
